I became a storyteller 27 years ago, when I was struck by lightning during a performance by master storyteller, Nancy Schimmel. It was her show on UC Berkeley campus, to an audience totalling about 8 people, that made the lightbulb go on: A storyteller. That's the name of the thing I've always wanted to be.
The rest of my story is an unfolding journey to figure out all the things that a storyteller can be.
